ABOUT SIDDHESWAR COLLEGE OF PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES

Siddheswar College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Amarda Road, Balasore was established in the year of - 1982 with an aim to- Train students for a life of dedication, service to motherland and respect to elders, Provide high standard of technical education, Contribute methods of Science & Technology in improving upon conservative particles and Impart training on any self employment programme.
The Institute has got its permanent building at its own campus at Amarda Road for compliance to the requirements of norms and standard laid-down by the affiliating authority. A two storied permanent RCC building accommodating all the Theory classes & Practical Laboratories for D.Pharm. Course with a total plinth area of approx. 6500 Sq.ft.
The Institute is situated at Amarda Road. It is only 0.5 Km. away from Amarda Road, railway station & bus stop and 20 Kms from Jaleswar Railway Station , 2.0 Km. away from Indira Chhak, which is on the National Highway No. - 60 and approximately 30 Kms. away from the District Head Quarter, Balasore. There are frequent transport (bus) services between Jaleswar - Baripada via Amarda Road. The place is also directly connected by road from Calcutta (180 Kms.), Bhubaneswar (230 Kms.)
The siddheswar college of pharmaceutical sciences is duely managed by the Governing Body constituted under the Chairmanship of Mr. Raghunath Mohanty, M.L.A. Basta & with other like minded elites of the society and was registered under Society Registration Act - XXI of 1960 vide Registration No. BLS 5090-300 of 1994-1995.

Affiliation And Approval

At present the institute offers two years & three months Diploma in Pharmacy course. This course is affiliated by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, Odisha State Board of Pharmacy,Bhubaneswar and recognized by Govt. of Orissa Ministry of family Health care department

Admission

Minimum Qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy Part - I course :¬A pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics (In accordance with ER-91).
1. Intermediate examination in Science.
2. The First Year of the three year degree course in Science.
3. 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science.
4. Pre-degree examination.
5. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
