Minimum Qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy Part - I course :¬A pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics (In accordance with ER-91).
1. Intermediate examination in Science.
2. The First Year of the three year degree course in Science.
3. 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science.
4. Pre-degree examination.
5. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Note
The reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes candidates shall be in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Govt. / State Govt. / Union Territory Administration as the case may be from time to time.

Selection Procedure :
Government of Orissa(Convenor D.Pharm selection committe in the website dmetodisha.gov.in) invites application for D.Pharm course and allocate . students who have requisite qualification to all institutions conducting D.Pharm course within the state as per students preference. Vacant seats, if any, are filled by the institution on receipt of application from the candidates strictly on merit basis.

Document required during admission:
1. Original & attested copy of matriculation/equvelent certificate in support of Date of Birth.
2. Orignal & attested copies of Certificate of +2 Science (Higher Secondary)/equvelent examination.
3. Orignal & attested copies of Markesheet of +2 Science (Higher Secondary)/equvelent examination.
4. Original & attested copies of the School/college leaving certifcate from the head of the institution last attended.
5. Original & attested copies of the conduct certifiate from the head of the institution last attended within 6 month.
6. Original & attested copies of migration certificate from council/University last studied.
7. Original & attested copy of Residence certificate issued by the compentent authority within 5 years.
8. Original & attested copy of caste certificate in case of S.C./S.T. candidates/ Green Card/ PWD/EX-Service Man.
9. Six Attested copies of recent passport size photographs
10. Requisite fees. On being granted admission a formal application on prescribed printed form be filled in. The candidate and his/her parent/gurdian must come personally with original and attested copies of documents listed above plus three more passport size photographs and requisite fees for payment (all fees at one time). College Leaving Certificate (C.L.C) from the Institution last attended must be submitted at the time of admission.
