The siddheswar college of pharmaceutical sciences is duely managed by the Governing Body constituted under the Chairmanship of Mr. Raghunath Mohanty, M.L.A. Basta & with other like minded elites of the society and was registered under Society Registration Act - XXI of 1960 vide Registration No. BLS 5090-300 of 1994-1995.
Siddheswar College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Amarda Road, Balasore was established in the year of - 1982 with an aim to- Train students for a life of dedication, service to motherland and respect to elders, Provide high standard of technical education, Contribute methods of Science & Technology in improving upon conservative particles and Impart training on any self employment programme.
MTo foresee, access and analyze the need and demand of the Pharmaceutical organization for coming decade and mould the students to match their expectations in the field of Medical Science. Our mission is to make quality pharmaceutical education accessible to all. We endeavour to transmute potential leaders into complete entrepreneurs who can shape the practice of the corporate world. Making incessant endeavour to create learning processes in response to changing managerial paradigms and to enhance the social & intellectual growth of the students & faculties

At present the institute offers two years & three months Diploma in Pharmacy course. This course is affiliated by Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, Odisha State Board of Pharmacy,Bhubaneswar and recognized by Govt. of Orissa Ministry of family Health care department
Minimum Qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy Part - I course :¬A pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry & Biology or Mathematics (In accordance with ER-91).
1. Intermediate examination in Science.
2. The First Year of the three year degree course in Science.
3. 10+2 examination (academic stream) in Science.
4. Pre-degree examination.
5. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.
